1942 Established Kamata steel tube in Tokyo.
1943 Established Amagasaki Steel Tube Factory.
1944 Complicated with Katakura Hichiro Store and Katakura Steel Tube Factory and am renamed to Katakura Steel Tube Factory Co., Ltd.
1952 Established Kanto Steel Tube Mfg.Co.,Ltd.
1954 Katakura Steel Tube Factory goes bankrupt in a Labor Dispute.
1955 Newly established Katakura Steel Tube Co.,Ltd.
1968 Opened Hiroshima Plant in Takaya-cho,Higashi-Hiroshima City,Hiroshima prefecture.
1988 Absorbed Kanto Steel Pipe Mfg. Co.,Ltd [Tokyo Plant]
1992 Capital increased to 301 million yen.
1994 Closed Tokyo Plant.
Opened new Tsukuba Ware House in Ibaraki.
2002 Certified ISO9001(Hiroshima plant).
2003 Increased 300tons draw bench and large straightening machine(300mm OD max)at the Hiroshima plant.
2004 Certified ISO14001(Hiroshima plant).
2005 Tsukuba distribution center of Ibaraki is founded by Katakura Corporation Co., Ltd.
2006 Certified ISO9001(Osaka plant).
2008 Relocated corporate headquarters and Osaka Sales Office, to Amagasaki-shi, Hyogo.
Opened Hanshin Plant in Amagasaki-shi, Hyogo.
2010 Certified Company-wide version of ISO14001.
2014 Capital reduced to 100 million yen.
Update the eddy current flaw detector of the Hiroshima Plant.
2015 Certified Company-wide version of ISO9001.
Relocated Tokyo Sales Office, to Kayaba-cho, Nipponbashi.
2016 Established Nagoya offcie in Nishiki,Naka-ku.
New Pickling and Conditioning Plant is founded by Hiroshima Factory.
Hold the 80th Anniversary Foundation Annual Celebration.
2018年 It is subsidized by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation.
Katakura Trading Co., Ltd. is no longer a subsidiary.
2019 Change a company name of it from Nippon Steel & Sumikin Katakura Tube Co., Ltd. to Nippon Steel Katakura Tube Co., Ltd.
